Our Track Record
IKUB is a young and thriving construction company. Since its inception in 2004, IKUB has managed several privately-funded construction projects in and around Kabul, Afghanistan. In addition, IKUB is currently implementing several large construction projects which are at various degrees of implementation. |
 Reconstruction of a 1,250 Sqm warehouse on Bagram Road to convert it into cooling/freezing facilities. This included removing the exiting floor, placing high standard, reinforced concrete and insul ted floor, repairing the warehouse roof, landscaping, well digging and setting up water supply facilities, putting in place security fences and blocks, wiring, and plumbing, replacing several heavy-duty gates, gravelling old and constructing new driveways to withstand 18 wheeler delivery trucks, and creating docking stations for transport trucks (January-May 2005). |
Upgrading the fencing and security measures at the Italian Embassy in Kabul. This involved installation of barbed wires, the required studs, and upgrading the fencing system on the embassy roof. |
Renovating a residential unit with 12 rooms in Karte 4, including floor works, bathroom renovation, constructing additional rooms, wiring works, cabling and networking for PABX and Internet, and complete painting. |
Renovating an apartment complex in downtown Kabul, including plumbing, landscaping, building security blocks, creating two large showrooms, constructing new bathrooms in 10 rooms, constructing a state-of-the-art conference facility, and cabling and computer networking in 40 rooms. |
Turn-key project: designing and renovating Mobile Zone’s company headquarters including designing and installing Internet/VSAT, PABX, and networking systems.

Turn-key Project: design and construction of the 12-story Park Tower Hotel and Shopping Mall over 4,000 Sqm land area at the heart of Kabul Business District in Shar-e-Naw. This landmark building will be equipped with the latest shopping facilities and hotel accommodation facilities, underground parking area, and secure, separate accesses to the hotel and shopping mall. |
Completion of an incomplete 8-story high-rise building in Kabul Business District, including designing, installing and commissioning the central heating and air conditioning system; designing and installing the exterior of the building; designing and installing a lift system not provisioned by the original contractor; and designing and constructing luxury restaurants and beauty salons on roof top of the building covering 1,700 square meters. |
Turn-key project: design and renovation of the Mobile Zone’s company showrooms and lodging quarters on Kabul, including designing and installing Internet/VSAT, PABX, and networking systems. |
Designing the central heating and air conditioning, electrical, lift, Internet and telephone systems of a four story (5200SM) building (under construction) in the Presidential Arg in Kabul. |

Projects under Negotiation: |
Design and Build Project: Design and construct the Jalalabad Police Brigade Headquarters in Afghanistan. This includes demining of a 36,000 SM area that will house the administrative building and the barracks. |
Construction on a 22 Km paved road in Jalalabad, Afghanistan.
